750ml bottle.
100% skin-macerated Pinot Grigio from Dundee Hills, Oregon.
An unexpected bottling from a revered Willamette Valley producer known for age-worthy Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Winemaker John Paul Cameron allowed the grape skin and juice to macerate for four-to-five hours before pressing, and the wine was aged in neutral barrels for six-to-eight months before bottling. This wine is both serious and versatile.
'Ramato' comes from 'rame,' copper in Italian. This is a traditional Italian wine term in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia for skin-macerated wine made from Pinot Grigio.
